--Hi friends, yesterday, i used "sound recorder" of microsfot to record something, yes.."taurent sound". but i then was shocked to see the file size "80 - 100 kb" per file(.wav)....hix, what can i do with these...( I tried to say as quickly as possible,...about 1~4 seconds,...but the result is not better...) --Do you know how to make my files size smaller,...if i shout loudly...is it size will increase??? |

try MP3's, and then a sound compressor. I had a program that did that, but I don't remember what it was. Also, reducing quality and KHz helps. (I don't know if this only works for Mp3's) |

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Use that, you can adjust audio quality and also save as an MP3 (Higher Compression) with the lame mp3 encoder. It's free btw. Also, Don't ever use windows recorder :P |

Yeah, actually, I've noticed that Audacity sometimes mutes all sound on my computer until I log out and back in. |
