i just thought about it... so the idea: when someone klicks on "Artist's Discussion and Queries" a little skript or whatever checks if the person has ever posted any requests. if not, give him a message like "read the rules first, no joke if you dont follow them, you will be punished" or whatever and then the link brings him to this or this or a similar page, explainig, how to ask for any help. down the page, there is a button "i understand" what brings the guy to "Artist's Discussion and Queries" and sets a variable =true (so he now is able to visit the request site without being directed to the rule page). if he posts a brainless request anyway a moderator can set this variable =false again... i dont know, if it is a bigy effort to make something like this. if it is, forget about it, cause the people i spoke of, usually wont receive any help anyway... |

Actually it's a good idea. Now we have to see if it's feasible. |

This could be a good way to alert people of rule updates too, simply set the boolean to false for everyone when the rules update (or have more than just a boolean, so you can tell apart new members who get the "please read the forum rules before posting" message and old members who get the "rules for this forum have been updated, please check them out" message). |

Genius! We should definitely have one for the map submission area as well. |

And code is gibberish to me. Hail! The activity on this site is low enough to be handled by our massive staff anyway. |
