Need max 9 perspective display help

I have a little problem in 3ds max 9, i put my computer on stand by and when i turned it back on the verts on my model are really small and the XYZ axis isn't the default one with the colored arrows. Does anyone know how to fix this?

yes, close max and open it again. Restart it, that is. Works for me at least.

Pressing X fixes the axis thing for me. I have an older version, though.

pressing x hides the axis gizmo and you can't move things around.

ok x fixed the axis problem and I've restarted max and the verts never changed back, but i turned off my computer and now it works fine :S Problem Solved, you can close the thread now.

nah, I'll leave it open so a moron revives it after one year and I get to smite him.
