Why doesn't my model show up properly in-game?

I have attached a model that i am working on and i'm wondering if someone can figure out why the shockwave particles (the ones that flow out horizontally almost like a plane) don't show up in game. + rep for whoever can help me fix it.

This is probably a pro-modeler problem and I'm a modeling noob :)

Well, there is 99.99% chance that this isn't a solution to the problem: When I did some noobish modeling, I found out that some particle emitters are way shorter than I made, so I have to make them a lot bigger to actually be visible.

I'm repeating again, that probably isn't it, because you're a pro modeler, so the solution must be really illogical and complex :)

XYQuad?

It's an issue, but nobody knows quite what it's caused by.

Mod off an XYQuad emitter from a real WC3 model and you should be fine.

Also some add-on programs mess with partical emitters for some odd reason :/

He's saying to take an XYQuad Emitter from an existing Blizzard model and then copy it into your model and tweak it instead of creating a fresh new one.

Yes.

I once noticed, when editing the 'speed' setting on the Spellbreaker's feedback model emitter (changing from -4 to 0), the quads disappeared.

WILLTHEALMIGHTY tested this a little and said that it didn't do anything, so...

Yes, scrap what you have and rebuild it (piece by piece) from a real in-game emitter.

hmm how can I scrap it? I based the model off of Blink. >< so i have to copy all the geosets and stuff over again? T_T

... Copy the emitter from somewhere else to your current model?
