Players Refusing to Ally with Neutrals

So, here I am trying to make a 6v6 aos map. I'm having a problem with allying players with the neutrals. However I set it, the neutrals seem to ally perfectly well with the players (the neutral towers do not attack the player units or anything), but the player units attack the neutrals they're supposed to be allied with.

I've tried adding all the players of a team to a unit group (both one at a time and by picking them all and setting the unit group to them), as well as individually setting them as allied to the neutrals.

I've looked for a solution to this both here and on the hive, so any help anyone could give would be most appreciated.

The BJ function for player alliances seems to have a lot of locks that prevent you from doing certain things, try the alliance natives directly.

You don't have to use the Neutral Players for that though...

If you add the "Ward" classification to a unit owned by a player; that unit will not take any orders from the player but "smart". Then you can just add a trigger which orders the unit to move on if a "smart" order is given.

Except that they still collect bounty when they kill units. Dunno, it just seems easier to do it with neutral players. Anyway, thanks Vex.

Somehow, I knew someone would respond with something like this.

Anyway, yeah, I was using neutral victim and neutral extra.
