Shop Select hero question

Hi is there a way to set a shop to select for example only ancients or only undead units and vice versa ?

I have 2 unit types 1 is ghost the other one are normal heroes so i have 2 types of shops 1 for "Alive" units and another for "Ghost" units ...

If there is solution for that it is under the object manager
> abilities tab > special > units > select hero (or select unit)

You are making a stupid wow map arent you?
DON'T DO THAT IT IS LAME.

well actualy im making a AoS map :) check out the titan arena :P ... but btw i tried that on the object manager and set up on the select hero option i tried to put it on targets allowed but it isn't working :(

You can change allowed targets only if you make new custom ability out of it.
Changing targets on wc3 default abilities does not work because game resets them for some reason.

I make all my things in object editor custom just in case.

So make a new select hero ability and add it to your shop instead of the default one.

i know about that bug and i did so but it still selects heroes it is not supposed to :(

Are you sure your heroes have the right classification?

Anyways try with select unit instead of select hero, it might work.

well the only difference is that unit selection targets only unit without inventory hero selects only units with inventory and about the

yes the ghosts are ancient and the heroes aren't i know that cause ghosts can only attack ancients and they can't attack heroes however ... its not working T_T

excuse me but aren't those units on opposite sides?

If they are simply make a non-neutral shop ffs.

On the other hand if you want to stop some hero classes from getting some items,
then you just make them drop items that are not of the appropriate class.
