Hello...

i know, because of the subject, it sounds like a art related thread, but i hope not...
i need to know, if there is a way to use one Model, that is allready in the game, with different skins, without editing a model-file for each new skin... i dont want to put multiple model-files in the map, that are exactly the same like the original one, just using different skins... to not make the file-size too big... i hope that this is possible in some way... i actually cant think of one :D

What you're trying to achieve is impossible without model duplication. I'm pretty sure anyway.

darn... well, then i just have to add models and skins to the campaignfile itself, instead of in every map...
hm... then another question... everytime some new model is "drawn" into the world, there will be a lag, cuz of loading it... how can i precache it? i know that the blizzard campaigns are using that feature, but i dont know how... anyone know how?

Just create it on start up and then remove it. Easiest way.
