It is your event. Try creating one function for both X and Y, instead of trying to check them both in one function.

Or youu could use conditions to further check them. If/Then/Else actions could also help by skipping the rest if the condition isn't right.

lol, your Z and Y in the event are NOT your Z and Y variables.

the entered chat string has to be:
ZY* where * is anything
and on top of that your setting variables Z and Y to the letters Z and Y of your entered chat string.
