My second model, again in Maya. Its a spaceship this time.

I added a new angle, you can see the whole ship better now.

Theres a lack of texture :)
At least you could have used some kind of ubber mega special fx maps like ... bump maps and stuff ^^

Except from that i guess its quite nice for a beginner

but dont give something on my opinion, im a noob at modelling

I'm aware of the lack of texture. I am horrible at texturing so I try but not to hard. I'm slowly learning though.

It was kinda inspired by Halo to some extent. The cattle prod is actually meant to be antennas.

The design is boring and the execution still lacks maturity. And oh my, purple spaceship? But that's a matter of taste anyway.
But hey, that's how everybody started, so keep up practicing. The first models are never great (even if you might tend to think so), but as time goes by you'll get better and better and when you'll look back at this you'll laugh.

reminds me of newbies who say not to judge it too hard because its their first or what ever. god, if any thing it should be judged harder so they no what to do next, not less. if its shit say its shit

Edit: now the cattle prod looks like a wing. In my opinion the ship really needs symmetry though, given how symmetrical it already is.
