Okay... There's one thing when it comes to Magos that I don't quite get... Particle Emitters. I get the general idea, but not the specifics. (I guess this really goes for a lot of stuff... but whatever). Does anyone mind actually going through and giving a brief description of what everything does on a particle emitter? (Such as borrowing emitters from other models under the Misc area of Edit, the Pivot Points, Transformations, & Flags of Edit Node, and stuff like that...) Please? |

I made a tutorial about that. It explains the basics of emmitters. But the Edit Node part isn't there... Pivot Points for emmitters are basically their position (so if you want it to be higher, then you put a higher value). Transformations are part of animation. It allows emmitters to travel "up" or sideways, rotate in different directions (mostly inneffective on emmitters) and scale to different values (mostly used for "flat" emmitters (set it to 0,0,1). Flags of Edit Node are a few different things. Billboarded means the node will always face the screen. However, most of these flags are useless for emmitters. |
