Just yesterday I could run Newgen World Editor just fine, but after waking up this morning and trying to open it, nothing happens. Like, I'll go into the folder, then double click on the Newgen WorldEditor icon, and nothing will happen. The normal world editor opens up and works just fine...I dunno why it won't work. I've checked my task manager and it SAYS its running, and exehack is running as well, but nothing shows up on my screen =/. Any thoughts, or help I could get on this matter would be great. |

Firewall? Antivirus? A virus? It sounds like grimoire is being unable to patch world edit, I have listed some possible reasons. |

What possibly could firewall have to do with NewGen? I have the toughest custom firewall possible and I never saw any NewGen problems. |

Some firewalls have built in Antivirus software. |

when machine & software are programmed to pretend to be smarter than human, it is doom... Like windows trying to do all the work for us (even if we don't want) |

my firewall (Kerio) has a function that prevents code injection. Which would cause grimoire to fail horribly. (i would presume, never tested if it actually worked... heh...) |

The Warcraft CD is in your drive, right? It should be and grimoire wont report the error if it isn't. |
