I was going to type up some elaborate thing about what this was supposed to be about but I'll just say I lost intrest in making it. The terrain's pretty detailed, is based off the Ultimate Terraining Map and uses raise-cliffs(majority of the pathing blockers are already there). Azeroth and Kalimdor are fully terrained except for capital cities functional layouts. Northrend was started and approximate zones were put in but abandoned. Originally I want to have outland be a separate part of the map but I realized I wouldn't have enough room. Intended to be a LoTR/Risk style map. I'm giving it away in hopes that it will be used, if you do end up using it you're going to want to delete a majority of the custom models that are imported and make sure you include credit for the models that you keep. If you use the terrain you don't have to credit me but I would like to know if it develops into something so I could play it. \And again this is meant to be playable, so certain aspects will look cramped or forced. |

No, I think that's the Maelstrom, which you can see on the map just below and to the left of the rectangle in the middle of the sea. |

The middle is a bunch of custom wave models. The rectangle in the sea is just for testing/planning purposes when I was conceptualizing units. |

Nice terrain and it is nice that you put effort into this but... What use can anyone really have of this? From the shot of strangle thorn vale it is obvious that this map is just way too scaled for any feasible map. The whole of one region couldn't even hold a small army. Buildings couldn't fit. And unless you scale the doodads they looked grossly over size, there are trees larger then booty bay (in comparison). |

The idea is to create the concept of the zone within a small area. When you play standard Warcraft 3 a footman is half the size of a farm. Why is everyone so bent on realism? Think table-top games like Axis and Allies where a tank piece is the size of Ireland. The idea is to represent units within an area. |

For certain maps, sure yes. But this is basically only one type of map, and one kind of gameplay. |

this terrain would fit Azeroth Wars....perfectly....that game's fun, but the terrain is pretty awful, should send it to the creators of Azeroth |
