Gameplay Constants. You can't have "infinite" food (nothing with computers is every infinite), but you can make it very high.

You could make all units have 0 food cost thus you would never reach max food supply effectively making it "infinite".

And if you still need help, Gameplay Constants -> Food Limit (default is 100). And indeed on VFAQ.

Although it is fun, this will solve nothing. Can none of you take 5 minutes out of your lives to simply type a nice paragraph explanation?

I can help you with this. As many already said to change many standard numbers of wc3 there is a place called Gameplay Constants. When in the editor look at the top of the screen to the Advanced Tab. From there choose the Gameplay Constants, it's the 4th down. Look down this list and find where it says Food Limit. Change the value to which ever number you want the food limit to be.

How will it "solve nothing"? New map-makers will get their problems explained on the spot, rather than waiting for a response, and we won't have to waste 5 minutes "typing a nice paragraph" that we've already typed many times before. Really, the person with the question should be the one doing the work, not the ones trying to help. There ARE some good arguments against a VFAQ sticky, but this is not one of them..

No, it won't help.
We already have a FAQ, where these questions are answered. When people don't look at the FAQ, why would they look at the VFAQ?
AND I won't tolerate any kind of flames against nubs in the forums that I moderate, take care.

On topic: Gameplay Constants can be found in the Advanced menu in the WE.

The person with the question should be doing the work? Are you listening to your self? Why help someone if you not gonna put any effort into explaining to them if they clearly don't understand a simple one word answer.

Why wouldn't they be doing the work? The people helping are the ones doing them a favor, not the other way around. This tutorial basically lays out my stance: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=93313

Favor? You call saying one word or small sentence a favor? I call a favor a nice paragraph that explains how to get to where you need, or how you do it.

I think I've made my stance clear enough, if you really want to continue discussing it PM me.
