I would like to learn how to edit models

You know, this is something that I've never really got around to learn how to do. It would be extremely useful for the kind of things I do in modding, and I'd love to have some good start-off points, downloads, links, and tutorials to help me do this. Thanks in advance.

GMax has almost zero to do with editing... Well, it did -- over three years ago.

Kids these days use the Oinkertools and Magos' Model Editor. The Oinkertools have massive tutorials on the site, Magos' has a help file; though there are tutorials that rely on it all over the joint (mostly concerning particle emitters).
