The surroundings definitely need work. It seems all glued together (the ground) the rocks don't look separated and the shapes don't contribute well to the piece and rather give it a more amateurish look than it deserves. The creature, on the other hand, is friggin gorgeous (and scary) the strong lighting and pink hue is great. Although you might want to work on his eye a bit the facial and hand details are amazing.
Also your lower body seems less worked on the leg muscles could be more defined to add more dynamic volume. But hell, this is a doodle after all (and a friggin great one) so yeah... shizzle. :D |
