I pretty sure this is the right board for this, but I am normally wrong about that.. I've never published any maps, my downfall is always the units. I just can't succeed when creating a unit. I know I should be asking a specific question, I just don't know enough to know what to ask. Please kind masters, go kind on a lowly newbie. |

How about this? Start with a standard WC3 unit, and ask us what you want to change. For instance, do you want to change it so he can cast all 3 spells without upgrading? Do you want to change his max mana and hit points? Do you want to change his model or certain special effects? Another way to learn your limitations, is to find a unit, and just start messing with fields and see how it affects the actions of the unit. The best way to learn is to play around with stuff in an empty map. |

Just as Castlemaster said. Figure out what you want and ask. If you just want to see what you can do, go to the Object Editor (the Knight's helmet), pick a unit, and start editing random things! |

Welll... If it's unit ideas you're looking for, give a theme and you'll get endless ideas. If you're just looking for help, then... Mess around with random stuff applying to the unit. |
