Since the furbolg hold wasn't a complete catastrophy, what do you think about this pic? What could be improved? |

yeah the trees dont really fit in... and what is a serpent doing in the little puddle? Other than that pretty nice... kinda seams like that place in WoW, near Booty Bay... idk... well maybe tropical trees would fix it more? |

Floating doodads is a major minus when it comes to terraining. A good way to fix this is either use the "Ctrl+Page Up/Page Down" trick to raise or lower doodads. OR you can add a roll value to the doodads to make them lean when placed on slanted grounds such as hills or cliffs. ~Craka_J |

It's beautiful...>.> except...the trees...there floating! If you fix those it would looks good. I like the amount of different things/doodads you used in it though. |

u used the same tree over and over, don't do that. if thats the only model of that type u have throwing something else in or at least change the sizes. right now u have a far for twin twirl toped reverse fuzz trees. the worm thingy is to big for its puddle but yeah it does look nice. the lighting is kind of weird though. |

Using custom models does not increase your terraining skill in any way. If you're not good at terraining, they look like you're just trying to hide your poor skills. I'm not saying you're not good, but you should maybe think about terraining with normal doodads first, so that you learn the tricks of the trade. (BUT, it's your choice) The trees are unlowered and look unrealistic. Also some plants grow in a very unusual places, i doubt you wanted it that way. I suggest thinking about an optimal placement everytime you add a doodad/destructible. This way your terrain will look clearer, and you need to use them less, which is good in playable maps. The heightfield work is done pretty well. I like it. Only the doodads are a little bit out of place imo. |
