This is a gallerie (a place where you can look at art) I know its kinda basic, but i didnt want to make it too complicated, because its meant to help my girlfriend with her art homework. She had to paint a gallerie, but is very unsure with perspective and such things, thats why i did that... Maybe somebody likes it! |

anyway, yes it's kinda too basic, but you could have spent more effort into rendering at least...if not final gather/gi or radiosity, then you could have at least cast the shadows! And it's not really well thought, because you have a circular space in there which screams "CENTRALITY" but what you have in the center is...a hole with sand...in the place where the central, most important piece should have been exhibited. Also bad arrangement with those sculptures. The paintings let's say they're ok, 'cause it's a room with no direct sunlight to reach them, but sculptures need to be bathed in light in order to perceive them at their finest. And it's bad anyway to post sculptures next to paintings in that manner. If you made this after an existing example, then it was a bad one. Hope you don't get offended, I just told you some basic stuff. And as for perspective: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/attachme...8&d=1182780332 http://www.wc3campaigns.net/attachme...9&d=1182780464 |

so what light source would u recommend? i tried some, but partially i just got a black screen... (its an omnilight now) i used the basic shapes of the sculptures because my gf has to manually draw the same again with a pencil on paper. it has no existing example, i just tried to make an interesting room... as for the circle in the middle, its no sand, but darker concrete, i see that i used a bad colour... |

Oh boy... TDR you really dont know whats all that art about, huh? See... its obvious that theres a hidden message when there, where you expect the biggest and most important sculpture, is only a big hole with nothing else then sand in it. Art wants you to make think about ... whatever. It's intentional. ![]() |

eye witness man, but not white or in the shape of an eye. always loved the little thing at the beginning of those movies. also the sculptures r in the way of the paintings so u cant really look at the paintings. its interesting though. I've never been in a real art gallery, where i live is too small. |
