Seekers of Fortune

The basis of this map is simple, hero focused, familiar though novel gameplay.

The map plays out like so: Every player begins the game with a builder unit that is invulnerable and may build only one building, a building which revives dead heros. They scout the map for a suitable place to build the building , and do so.
When this is done the players choose two heros from a selection of all the racial and nuetral heros, plus a few custom or balanced campaign heros.
The players then begin to hunt down creeps, attain items and gold, gain levels and fight the other players team of heros.
Eventually players may begin unlocking events which allow players to attain more powerful items, more gold, require players to fight very powerful mobs, etc.....

This map idea is very simple, but i have not seen any maps quite like this on B.Net, or anywhere, actually. My friends and I have playtested the early versions quite throughly and as yet it has not become tedious or boring

A player wins when all of the other players buildings have been destroyed ( I call them the Shrine of Legends)

In the current version of the map, the following features are complete:

-All the racial and nuetral heros are functional
-two events are complete, one which begins spawning very powerful untis to kill, another which allows the purchase of rare items
-two custom heros are complete, one from scratch, the other based on the Ranger from the Human campaigns
-The map used is the Icecrown 12 player melee map, with obvious tweaks and edits
-All creeps respawn
-some hero spells have been balanced for the game, such as the Paladins Resurrection spell

I made this post to make sure that I've "reserved" the idea, and to build a little hype for the map so that if, by chance, people begin playing it on B.Net, people will knwo that I am the original creator, and it doesnt get stolen (I dont really like protecting my maps... I find it frustrating when i really want to know how something is done, but i cant see because the map is protected)

I would very much appreciate input, ideas and advice from the experienced map makers out there, and from anyone who has a good idea or has any interest in the map.

You spelled "heroes" wrong.
