For my map the Villager Man is one of the main characters, but it doesn't have any team color. I planned to make the shirt reveal the TC. Using Photoshop (I only have Photoshop 7) i erased the shirt to make it transparent, leaving the belt and the shirt buttons. Then i applied some shading so the color wouldn't appear so bright to the eye. It looks all good with photoshop but then when i apply it to the model it looks so messed up. I have attached the model, the skin, and the .tga file. So please can anyone help me, by giving me some tips/hint or direct me to tutorials.. Thanks in advance! NLD]Potter EDIT: Sorry realized i had not attached the files i said i did. |

It looks 'so messed up' because the Villager model supports no team colour, meaning it will simply make erased parts disappear. |

@Dionesiist: Alright.. which means it simply can't be done? No way to work around it? I am not very Warcraft 3 literate.. so help me out a bit.. Any suggestions otherwise? |

As long as I know (keep in mind I'm not a modeller), the team color is like a separated part of the model, like another model 'inside' the model, so when you alpha out the skin, the team color, that is 'behind' the skin will show up, but not every model has this separated layer. Hope you got it. |
