OOC Question; "Showcasing" an RP

Anyways, say I wanted to share a roleplay, outside of this community, here--kind of like sharing a story in the story forums. First of all, would I share it here, or would I share it in the Story forums? And, would there have to be a specific way to format it (ex. how I would organize the posts), or can I just do whatever works the best?

And there's another little problem, which is how this roleplay I am doing is divided into different threads, for organization. Since I have a custom combat system for the roleplay, I have things such as an Ability page, how battle works, an OOC thread, and the roleplay thread itself (along with some other threads, but I don't think they'd be necessary to show). Would I have to jam this all into one topic, or would I have freedom to spread it out?

Regarding the multiple threads: You'd have to take that up with one of the moderators. Of course, you're going to have to get it approved first. Mind showing us what you have in mind?

((I'm actually not going to showcase it right away, so I just want the basics first of what I can do so I can be prepared for when the time comes. So, for now, I'll keep what I have in-mind to myself until... I want to reveal it. Not trying to sound fitty there (if that's even the word). I'll share it through a PM if it needs to be approved, naturally; I've no problem with that.))

The RP on it's own sounds complex, a little too complex for our style of RPs. We're much more focused on our own RPing to pay that much attention to a showcased RP that we didn't, or aren't, participating in. If Taur or Erwt were here, they'd say something like..."It's not taking place in wc3c so why should we care? No." But they're not here. Just telling you, showcasing is pointless, give the URL of the original and maybe some people will visit. I'm more likely to visit the original than to read it in these posts (just to see how it's built, how long, what it's like, if I care). Don't bother wasting your time, just give a hyperlink.

((Sure, Taur and Erwt might say no. However, showcasing is not necessarily useless. And I'd give the whole "normal URL" thing if the link wasn't private (ex. a private forums). And, the RP isn't that complex--not very at all, actually. Plus, I might let some people from here join if they ask really nicely.))

Instead of asking us to do some showcased RP why not create the RP here, or RP here as well? I'm not interested in any showcased RP.
