Hey is it ok to edit the maps for a private LAN game? And if so, how can I make changes without ruining the installed triggers?

Learn JASS and mpq-editting or mind-control miki to make him give you the trigger file.

u can only mess with the DM MOD files if you are gonna use them ONLY for your self. Any kind of distribution of edited DM MOD files to the public is NOT allowed.

I understand that completely, but I was wondering, If i edit unit data in world editor , then save it, does it get rid of all the triggers?

if you try to edit something in WE and then u save it, the DM MOD will automatically be deleted.

...anyway, meaning that u can edit files ONLY for YOURSELF doesn't means i'm gonna help you to do it! You have to do it for yourself... i hope u understand this hehe:D

As long as you don't distribute edited files, I will be happy that you play with the DM MOD. :D
