only if there are some players which does have low quality settings and the other one high. and if you will use terrain deformation so the one players will have it and the other one (with low quality) will not. so if you will use GetLocationZ() so it will return different values == DeSync if use in global actions =) well how you see it's only a MultiPlayer problem.
but... terrain deforms are piece of shit =) so.

1.) anyone running wc3 on low graphics settings has a super old computer and shouldn't be playing games anyway

2.) trigger all your spells

He means terrain deformations for local player, I think global is ok because it happens for all the players keeping the Z the same, where as a terrain deform for only 1 player is gonna give a different value.

except playes with a "low" graphics quality will not see terrain deformations, causing desync.

Avoid terrain deformations, or avoid GetLocationZ(). Nether are evil, but like matter and antimatter, they go BOOM when you try and make em play together.

grr... i guess i'll just put some notes in the game telling players with low quality should not touch the map... simply cant give up on getlocatinZ and those cool warstomp spells :D
