pikeman!

well thanks to a litle help from ZZzz, I have finished what will be the rider for our chocobos. ill probably reskin him and add a banner, but he looks pretty cool just as a pikeman...and get this...hes animated! though ill have to cut otu a fe cuz there is no point in having a walking animation if u are riding a chocobo, u know? the angle isa lil funny, but thats cuz the screenie is reversed, ill show some more pics once i get him on my chocobo

don't mind me for asking something real stupid, but what program are you using that would mirror flip all the pictures like that? Or are you doing it on purpose.

Why cut out the walking animation? Can't you have some pikemen on chocobos and some walking?

you mean the pike is aniamte dor the captin ewhich was already aniamted?

he is just a captain wit hsword skined out and redone blademaster sword attached by mdl, im gonna attach him to my chocobo once i can fix the chocobo's skin

Well, the chocobo looks great, but... Why is the picture flipped? You made it backwards...

well i have just discovered(other people knew but no one told me) that when u attach a model through mdl editing, the animations for the ttached unit dont show up, which really sucks, which means we will have to animate both of them together, but luckily the attack animation of the captain will fit fine, ill just need to do the sand walk and run, which shouldnt be too hard

im doing a warhammer mod and ive been looking for high elf/dark elf/human spearmen for a long time, and i have failed to learn to model :( :( :nono: :nono: :bangH: :bangH: emote_confused emote_confused emote_confused

i didnt skin that, though i can skin, kojiro did the chocobo skin and i did the uvw unwrapping, and void made the model, he makes most of our models, but ZZzz made the pike, its just a modded blademaster sword, but i attached it and alphaed out the sword, and changed his anims

Heh Thats a real neet skin! I dont know how you did the pike but it looks kewl. Are you going to post it for download?:dance:

well that was basically just a test, but all of my models that im doing now are being devoted to either final fantasy reborn, shadowdale, or koten
