Watercolor :o



Rushed it at the end kinda

Composition completely by me. But I used references for colors and so on.

no reflections in the water? :(
And that mountain on the right, supposing it's far away it should be blue a little darker than the sky, not black as it is now.
other than that, it's pretty neat.

hmm, actually I should have painted the whole image darker.. oh well.. watercolor

regardingh the reflection btw: The reference material told me there aren't any clear reflections in a rather unquiet sea. And I've actually messed it up with the deatils anyway :D

I like it.

the mountain thing looks fine, but not as a mountain. more like a point or something covered in old growth spruce. as for the reflections, around here the water doesn't really reflect at all.

i love everything but the sun, something just isn't right about it.

Well done, though if you call it "Meeresglut" there should be a stronger reflection imo :D
Also, for the rocks you made shadows, but no reflections.

But hey, that are only small details. Still a nice painting.

You tell me how to brighten watercolors by painting another layer of it on an existing layer and I could try to correct it xD

otherwise I just fucked that particular part up the most

Ah well, watercolors won't ever be my favorite materials for painting anyway :D
I should try the acrylics lying around here for ages already sometime xD
