In 3dsmax5 with ArtTools, how do I make a .GIF animation preview to post? My model is choped up into pieces with the connected flag checked so I would need the preview to connect them too. sry about the un-needed smilie, I felt the need to put it. |

Take screen shots, cut out what you need and then turn it into a GIF using an image editor? |

that would be way too freakin slow and painful. Use a screen capture program like Camtasia. Oh and after you do it and you want to post your work, do it in this thread, don't make another one. Or if it's ready, with textures and all, post it in the gallery. |

Can't you just render the animations as jpg files and then use Easy Gif Animator? I do. :/ |

I just use an AVI screen recorder and then convert it to a GIF. The current one I'm using is CamStudio (It's free), which is OK, but the animations come out a little low quality. And then I just use the AVI GIF Converter I have and boom. Also, when it's an AVI you can edit it in Windows Movie Maker to remove unneeded bits |
