I guess your Apocalypse idea was not the same as what me, Craka_J and so on is making. A shame that you've left completely though, it would be nice to have you back on the team! |

Does this mean you're recontinueing your version of Apocalypse (Legacy) or starting a new one for WarCraft III? Anyway, about the terrain: I really like the terrain. Gives me an eerie cold feeling. I like it! Everything looks broken and fragile as well, you've definitely captured that warzone feel to the terrain, no doubt about that. The environment and atmosphere is amazingly well done. However, since this is a playable terrain, don't you think that forest is a bit too dense for players? I mean, won't it be hard to see your unit in those big thick bushes and with those giant trees in the way? Try seperating them and making the grass smaller. Showcase wise, they're pretty much perfect. But if you want players to be happy, they're going to have to see their unit(s) at all times, including in forests. That's the downfall when it comes to making maps in crappy game engines such as WarCraft III. :P ~Craka_J |

Ha ha the trees goes semi-transparent when u walk near them. I put that system in the final map the one u got was a test map. As for the grass the player stands taller aswell as the zombies so that was never an issue with me. I also have the dynamic lighting system in this map where if the play walks near light (from fire or streetlight) He gets a large feild of view including the lighted area. Actully i think i got the tree trasparentcy system hear if im not wrong check it and Craka re-read my first post. |
