Post cinematic Black mask

On my map we have a flying unit that flies in from one corner of the map.

It flies 1/3 of the way across the map, during its flight the narration plays out bringing the player up to speed as to what is going on.

The flying unit reaches the player start location and the cameras pan down and and around in a partial spiral focusing on our hero.

Fade to black - select unit, blah blah blah - fade in.

While all of my map except Village region is black mask (the village is visible to the player) there is a long trail of visibility where the cinematic camera followed the flying unit.

If I use the trigger that modifies visibility across the whole playing map of black mask then my village remains in perpetual blackness on the mini-map.

I tried using different teams for my flying unit that we are following, yet still I get the trail of visibility.

How do I remove the revealed portions of the mini- map that were revealed during a cinematic?

I think the thing with using other teams for the flying unit, you just have to make sure you're not allied with it, i think. If it still doesn't work, i have no idea.
