So i just downloaded an effect: Death and decay beta pack i was wondering how to actually be able to use it under the effects list In other words, i would like to change the default death and decay into the one i downloaded |

1. Import the model 2. Edit the model path to remove the War3mapImported or whatever it's called, the stuff before and including the / (forward slash) 3. Save your map 4. Quit 5. Open your map 6. I know how to import models and edit the paths, but how can i use them as an effect and not a model itself, if possible? |

You mean so they show up in a list like all the others? I don't think you can. When importing stuff they show up in a separate list with other custom stuff of its kind. If you mean like, for a spell effect... Just select it from the list when modifying your spell. If you want to use it in JASS, then use the filepath. |
