hi folks.

i want the effect of an unit which comes slowly out of the floor/ground. i planned to to some smoke/dust effects but thats not the matter here.

i know you cant use negative flight hight, but i already saw this in a map (cant remember name though), so it has to be possible.

already tried various stuff, but i still have no clue how to begin with.

any ideas?

it's an animation.
if you play slowly the birth animation for a skeleton, for example.
if you want it for a different model and if this animation don't exist, you must create it

Hrm? I was under the impression that negative fly heights were allowable.

negative fly heights doesnt work. but there is a way out of this. u need to create the unit with default negative movement height. then u use the setflyheight trigger to move it up. there u go :)

hmm after a test, yes it is allow :p
But you need to specify the minimum height of flying for the unit in the object editor.
and it works only for the flying models.
Change the move type or use the ability 'Arav' has no effect
