I'm making a hero for a footmen frenzy map. For those of you who don't know, frenzy maps basically involve a bunch of units (each player controls an army of 1 type of unit) and heroes fighting in one giant bloody field. I've made a hero whose job is to create chaos on the battlefield, but i need a third (non ult) for him. HIs spells are as follows: 1) Confusion. Makes the target move int he opposite direction ordered (very annoying!). Has low mana cost/cd, very spammable 2) Scramble. makes every unit in the targeted AoE move to another random posistion in the targeted AoE and take some damage if they are an enemy. 3) ???? 4) Doppleganger. Takes the form of the target enemy hero, including items. Lasts 15/30/45 seconds |

You didn't ask for it, but I have a little idea for a 4th spell: Mass Hysteria - Changes the owner (but not the color) of every unit nearby the casting hero. The result is that all units attack random nearby units, allies and fows with no difference ;)If you want so, I could give you that spell, based on JESP. |

Change the owner to another random player, or neutral hostile? Well I analyzed that spell. At first it seems imbalanced, because it takes control away from others....but then i realized that it effects allies too, so it would be balanced. It doesn't really give a specific advantage to any player. Although, a smart player could cast it on a group of enemies, wait until they kill each other, and sweep in. If you made it for me that would be awesome. I would like it to be AoE targetable (flamestrike), have configurable non formula based functions, like JASS:Function duration takes real a returns integer if a ==1 return 2.00 if a ==2 return 3.00 if a = 3 return 27.00 endfunction I dont know jass that well, but hopefully you get what i mean. |

Yeah, you totaly got the point of my spell. And another Yes for your 'formula based functions'; thats one of the main points of JESP. I think I could modify the spell within 10 hours... |

Check out the Enrage spell in the JESP Spell resources section made by Vexorian. Totally what XieLong suggested. |

Hmm... Maybe a spell that stops all heroes from attacking, but making them invulnerable (since that'd just be a hero-death fest)? Since in 99.7% of footies the heroes do all the damn work, I think removing the control from players for a little while might cause some problems for them =D |

@ Darkwulfv I didn't plan on making it target heroes. that would be very imba. But, in my footies map, heroes dont play as major a role as normal |

And to stop players from grouping enemies around the heros (so they're trapped when they unfreeze), 'blink' them back to their respective base at the end of the freeze. |

Sorry, I didn't understand. I thought that you were saying that XieLong's idea of making units belong to neutral hostile would be imba because they lose control of their heroes. So let me see if I understand. You're suggesting that I make EVERY hero on the map from attacking, makes them invulnerable and freezes them? That seems a but to ultimate like for me. But, I like it. I think I might make that his ultimate, and replace doppleganger with the attacking spell. That would make one crazy hero.... |

Yes, every hero on the map frozen and invulnerable, then blinked back to their base when it's over, to prevent surrounding. That could really screw some people up, especially if their hero is doing too much work. Doppleganger is pretty crazy too. And thanks for considering using my idea. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing. |
