Mountain Giant.... with gun

I did this request for Freakazoid, and I like how the idea evolved. Totally done with Photoshop CS2 and tablet.

looks a bit too sketchy (at least for my personal likeness) atm. Maybe you should think about cleaning ti up? :p
Also the gun is totally out of perspective. You can easily see that you just pasted it from the photo and overpainted so it looks adjusted.

The style used is very similar to one that I've loved too much and it's the comic style. I've always liked the drawings made by penciler, inker and colorist, with the "liquid color" effect. So I tried that style and I think that was a good result if we take into consideration that it's the first time I color seriously with Photoshop.

nice, but i think a missile launcher or something would be more appropriate, a mountain giant could probably drag a small artillery piece.

Yers, probably you're right, but I used a M16 because Freak requested it in that way. If I have time, I'll experiment with a massive weapon.

I've been saying that the MG requires something more heavy and manly then a fucking M16, but whatever.

The picture looks quite cool. It looks unfinished though, could use some polusing, but the outline is verry nice. Interesting lighting would be cool.

did you use a gradient background? it absolutely kills it dead. Just paint something crappy and it'll be TENTHOUSAND times better then a gradient.

Yes, I know, the background need something more artistic, I was thinking in some forest with an afternoon sun. I'll work on it.

The M16 was used for Freak request, at least I understood that it was important to use that weapon.
