Good tile variation; though I think it could be improved on the left side of the screen by the mountain. It looks too plain and solid. Mix and match tiles more in that area. I think the forest should be denser, meaning that I think you should place more trees and variate them. Though, the style that they're placed and how they're seperately placed reminds me a lot of World of Warcraft's terrain style. There should be more environmental doodads placed such as snowy shrubs or something, but you'll have to find something like that on the internet. You should also make more rocks as well... there's no specific area where they are needed though. They're kind of needed everywhere. There should more floating ice in the water and some icey rock spires between the mountain and the water. Overall, I'd have to say that this terrain is pretty good, but there is room for improvement. I like the fog you've added as well. Keep it up and I hope you plan to keep improving this to perfection and I hope that you will learn from your mistakes to create even better terrains! ~Craka_J |
