[Help] Losing Mana Continuously

Does anyone know any ABILITIES which could cause negative mana regeneration, short of using negative INTEGERS (Macs can't seem to cope with those)?

I just need a basic, dummy ability which can degenerate mana. I've tried permanent immolation, but I'm not sure that works because I tried it and it didn't work.

if decrease by ammount you can try brilliance aura with negative number :) side effect is that it has an buff icon~

Any other suggestions that wouldn't show a buff icon?

Well, trigger it, i guess there won't be a 3rd choice...

Well, if I used activateable Immolation, activated it, and then disabled it, would I be able to use a secondary Immolation without a hotkey/orderstring/casting clash?

actually im not sure, but you can try with a spellbook and see what happens?

a spellbook with immolation, disable the spellbook, then order the unit to cast immolation...

btw, i though immolation have a buff icon too? why don't just use brillance aura instead...?

Try giving the ability that mana fountain uses a negative value.

@ zen87
Fark, forgot about Immolation's icon.

@ Thunder_Eye
I completely forgot about the Mana Fountain ability, I'll try that.

EDIT!

Mana Fountain's ability solved my problem

Dare I ask, what the hell does that spell do? It's the only spell I don't know its purpose.

That looks like it would leave a buff and I really don't want to do that. I already found a solution, but thanks for that idea.

Problem already solved. An equivalent has already been found and if needed I could make the effect AoE.
