Hello, I've asked this question on other forums and searched Google a lot for a good tutorial on how to model a realistic rose and I've had no luck. If anyone knows a tutorial or knows how to go about making one please share. I'm using 3ds max 9 and plan on animating it from a tight rolled up rose to a fluffy "bloomed" rose. Thank you, Argo. |

Well, create a mesh/meshes first of all. After that I suggest creating your UVMap, texturing it, then start creating bones to animate the mesh. Get 'Dexporter and export it to a .mdl, open up the .mdl, do necessary editing, get a .mdl -> .mdx program (I use MdlxConv), get a .tga -> .blp program (I use Warcraft3Viewer), open up World Editor and import the .mdx and .blp and use it on a unit. Here's a good in-depth tutorial: http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/magos.php |

this part of the forum is dedicated to modeling regardless for what it's for as long as I'm in charge with it :) |
