Well, i were almost finished with the basic AI for the AI Contest and got a compile error. The error was "Line xxx: Unregistered Basicfunction", however the number is too high (line is ~2306 and it gives 14 compile errors, however those line are blank, due the script is not so long) and this error also appears when i'm making a new blank AI. Anyone got an idea why this shit is happening? ![]() |

hmmm... it seems like a AI editor bug... in order to confirm, could you export the script (File > Export script)?? You can check it with jasscraft and debug the AI code. If it has an error, then I suggest to do the following: Change the race to any other and save, then change it again to the desired race and save. I hope it works. |

I also have a problem, I was going to watch my AI in action but when I click Test AI, nothing happens. I'm using JNGP if that makes any difference =/ |

Also i checked the AI with Jasscraft and no error appeared. Well, i changed the Race afterwards too, but still the same error. I think i'll take the bloody way and reinstall Windows + Warcraft 3 I HATE YOU BLIZZARD! |

Alright, i though reinstalling WC3 would fix the problem but it still exist. I don't really know what the heck is going on with my AI Editor. What i already did: 1. check if there's a syntax error => NO 2. changed race and tried to save/test => NO 3. cleaned up my entire computer from all crap => NO 4. reinstalled Warcraft III => NO Anyone got an idea what is going on? If not, i'll use the JNGP AI Editor, export it with disabled syntax checker and import it in a normal map to test it... |

maybe the ai file got currupted? if so you'll have to remake the AI |
