Ok belive it or not I created a hero.. the problem is that i want him to use the model file of the morphed demon hunter but no matter what i try he still shows up as a regular long eared blind elf with two curved blades (the original demon hunter..) I'm really in need of some help here so please if you know how to do this tell me and another thing i'm sure i've done this before so is it possible that the version of the World Editor is the problem?

I believe you can solve this by changing the "Required Animation" or something along those lines to "alternate".

EDIT!
I have World Editor open now,

1. Go to "Art - Required Animation Names"
2. Add string
3. Add "alternateex" to that string
4. Fin.

EDIT2!
fixed "Alternate" thing

That actually doesn't work. He needs to be morphed for it to take effect, or you can add the animation tag through triggers. Just use the trigger action "Animation - Add the "alternate" animation tag to UNIT".

If it doesn't work, how come preplaced morphed demon hunters look like that?

Try testing the map. They won't in-game, or at least they don't for me (and I just checked to make sure).

Orly?

Using alternateex is bad, use alternate

Yeah they appeared morphed in the WE window but in-game they were regular demon hunters.. anyway the triggering worked and i'm officialy happy now. Thank you

=o. I was using alternateex, you're right.
