Hello, I kinda came back to these forums after a long absance. I submitted one map awile back and it was denied. Well almost a year has passed and I've done pletty of map work. So to skip an even longer story, here is my pride and joy of these past few months: RallyZone Wars

RallyZone RTS.w3x

So, I am generally looking for testers to test the overall balance between the races, full functioning of game-modes, underpowerment of AI scripts, spelling of tooltips, suggestions for future versions and likewise. Feedback is much appreciated.
Here is a brief description of the game:

Object of Game:
RallyZone has a wide range of Gamemodes allowing different types of play. The base game is to destroy all other players in a free for all. Bases are prelayed out, and defined by buildible terrain. Capture these base areas to get room for new base buildings.

Buildings:
-HQ building
-Troop Producer
-Item shop/food producer
-Upgrade Center
-Wall (Can fit in small Spaces)
-Tower (Can fit in small spaces)

These are the following modifications:
-pol : Political : All player's HQs are un-killable so that no one can be defeated. Good for playing with friends so no one can loose. (Allying allowed)
-melee : Melee Mode : Destroy all enemy structures to defeat them. (Allying allowed)
-HQ : HQ Mode : If a player's HQ is destroyed, they loose. (Allying allowed)
-Cap : Capture : If a player's HQ is destroyed the respawn as an ally of the conquering player and his/her allies with his/her team color. (Allying not allowed)
-Ass : Assassinate : Kill the enemy Hero to defeat them. All heroes get a stat boost. (Allying Allowed)

Version 0.8b Updates:
-Human Race added
-Capture mode Added
-Balancing done

Hi, I just randomly found this post when I was searching for something else and saw that nobody has said anything in the month since you posted this, so I downloaded it. I have only looked at it in single player and it looks simple but possibly fun. I will maybe try it out with my friends on the weekend. One thing that seems strange to me - and maybe it is part of the essence of the game - is that units don't seem to take resources to build. In fact I couldn't see how resources are used at all.

Well I tested it with some friends and we didn't enjoy it.

The resources system for one thing is strange. It seems the main resources are space and time, which is perhaps an interesting concept but I don't know. I found things to be very slow. Unit descriptions weren't very useful but then again with the few units and races we tried there didn't seem to be much uniqueness between units.

Why is the map so large? There is just big empty space between bases.

When you buy stuff from the store for your hero it drops on the ground instead of going to your hero.

What was the point of building walls when you could just build towers?

Overall, I'm sorry to say, it just didn't look interesting to me.
