Hi wc3campaigns and happy new year I have reinstalled my computer and therefor also installed 3dsmax5 and the arttool again. Then my 3dsmax got problems so I unistalled both tool again. Now when I try to install the arttool again it say its already installed on my computer. I have tryed this before, and I just went to "Run --> Regedit" and searched "arttool" and deleted every file it found. Thats normaly works, but now it wont work, and it still say its installed on my computer Does anyone know any soulation on this problem? |

dunno, wanna have the installed files from my computer? i mean, as it already suggests that it is installed u only need the files, dont u? edit: wow, i dont know which files are part of the art tools, i mean there are a lot of scripts and stuff... you'd need to gimme a list of all files then. |

I can use WinMPQ to extract all the files from the install file (exe). But I dont know where and in wich folder to put them. Argh this damn thing annoey me so much. I know its because there is a stupid little file somewhere on my computer, then the arttool thinks its already installed. I have tried looking at blizzards homepage, but its so messy, its impossible to find what you search. So I gave up. My only hope is, that someone know where these(this) damn file is located on my computer, and then delete it. Or reinstall my windows again. |

if you haven't done this already, do it: delete the "War3ArtTools" folder from the 3ds max main folder; then go the "plugins" folder and delete every file whose name starts with "War3...". If you did this and still doesn't work...I don't know. |
