... how much space (kilobytes and whatnot) will it add on? I looked at the Panda UI and Demon UI (Sorry I can't remember your name, seriously!) and they seemed fairly high in detail AND fairly space consuming. I'm not really looking at "über mega super ultra kill your computer's monitor and make your eyeballs explode with eyegasms" quality... just something that's B.Net worthy to attract people. On that note, are custom UI's dangerous to use on B.Net? |

It, like any texture usage, depends entirely on how much you compress/etc. Each UI pane is 512x512 except the fourth one (which is 128x512 or something ridiculous like that), so that's about... 130 to 140Kb apiece, on a bad day; though that's based on a couple of mine at 95 compression setting. I'm quite sure you could shave it down further and not sweat. |

I often save my icons at roughly 60-75% (Haha... you can't really tell the difference) but I think for this I'd have to use 70-80%... so 130-140kb a piece at 95%. Hm, kay. Thanks for that. +Rep |
