Is it possible to have the little mini-map during the game to be changed around to focus on only certain areas of the map rather than showing the entire map all the time? I have zones in my map and the map is big and i dont want players of one zone to have tiny sections of the mini-map... i want it zoomed in and focused on just their section so that the mini-map details are more detailed and close up |

If you mean locking the camera to a section then zooming the mini map into that section, as far as I know, that is impossible by normal means. |

well, i did notice that you can have your map bigger than the camera bounds.. and the mini-map seems to focus on the camera bounds.. cuz i have this one other map that has these other sections that are incomplete and the map is HUGE but i have them all turned off and i adjusted just the camera bounds for now in the editor to a small 64x64 section that is currently playable.. was just curious if i could move those camera bounds mid-game and if the mini-map would adjust to whatever those bounds were and be confined to only that. |

There should be a function somewhere which states "Set Camera Bounds" or something. EDIT! No, the mini map wouldn't refocus for it. The reason why is because the minimap is a premade .blp file. You could probably find it if you opened any WC3 map with an MPQ editor. |

That's interesting, because I could have sworn that there's a TD called 'skeeby's' or something (It has a lot of minigames inbetween waves) where they focus in on the minimap to wherever you're doing the Minigame. I may be wrong though. |

It's Skibi's Castle TD. And no, it doesn't focus in the minimap. (You can find it under Maps/Frozen Throne/Scenario - it came with a patch.) |
