Welcome to the world of
Factions Choose from one of four different races and one of seven different classes. Each class provides a unique role for your hero in the battles to come, be it player versus player or faction against faction, things will be kept hot and ongoing to keep players coming back for more. But there's more than just engaging in fights. You are free to do as you will, explore the jungles and dungeons in the world of Izuld. Take part in important quests and sidequests, each giving players information about the story of Factions as they progress through the game. .:
This Guild Wars-inspired ORPG is in under heavy development, and suffice to say it won't probably be ready until it's ready. I am undertaking all of the systems on my own and I will need more manpower if I want an early release. .:
If this thread just happens to get alot of attention, I could probably try to get the project hosted, I need some love and feedback. So yeah, please, if you're interested in joining, just send me a PM and maybe we can talk about things. Thanks for reading, ciao. |

My terraining is nothing to show off :P I didn't terrain very much, just made the first "newbie" zone in which I test my systems. I make the systems first before I start any real terraining work, if I have a terrainer, both would be done earlier :P All in all, it's around 40-50% ish, after all the systems are done, the progress would get a speed boost since the hardest and longest parts to be finished are done. I think the quest system is the most tedious one to do. |

Hmmm, this looks interesting! But i just wonder how that alliance/guild thing will work? Will you be able to "save" your alliance/guild? Or will we be "forced" to create a new alliance/guild every time we start the map on the Battle.net? Quote:
Maybe a stupid Question: Will this be saved all the time when we re-load our character in a new game or do we lose them? (The stats and skills) |

Just tell me what style you need them and a map with the border for the cities marked out and any basic terrain you've made so far NOTE that i cant start till after the weekend. And i can also help with brainstorming, but i also have my own (small) project so i wont be spending 100% of my time on the terrain. |

Guilds are termed as Factions, each Faction can have up to 12 members. You need to save after you join a Faction in order to "save" your spot on the Faction. The largest Faction vs Faction that can happen is 6v6 per game, or a FFA. Whenever you kill someone from another Faction, you get Reputation Points, these are used to spend on luxury items or can be converted to gold for you to buy some skills/stats or other items. Maximum amount of skills is 11, maximum amount of stats is 200. Also, a Faction leader can buy Faction Skills in order to power up his allies, these only work as beneficiary auras for the whole Faction. |

this is going to make a giant save code u know... |

It's practically just the same save code like every other RPG, it just stores some data on your character, like what Faction he is in, is he the Faction leader, etc,. |

Create a Faction, you become the leader. Join a Faction, you become a member. |
