slk to w3u

CAn someone help convert slk to w3u. I have been trying to find out how all night, and it would really help me alot.

Any reason you actually need this? slk are much easier to edit than w3u and are loaded faster by war3.

Loaded faster is true, but easier to edit, o_O

slk might be easy to edit, but I need to place some of the custom units in the editor, I would need to import the units again. but how do i do that?
I got programs that can convert w3u into slk files but not the other way around, can anyone help me!!

if it's your map just make a backup before the conversion

yeah, that is really the core of the problem. I dont have any backups or the old w3u file..
I only got the map with the slk file.. and I would like to have my units back.
did anyone make a tool for this? or something..

We don't support map unprotection.

Just edit the darn slk file. It IS easier, just some text file or you can even use office for that.

I solved the problem myself.
becuse this may be used to unprotect map I am not gonna post the answer.
