Channel ability help

The ability channel. Can it be used on heros? I tried to use it and it dissapeared when the ability was learnt. It seems to have a nice field where u can add the target type to be a point/unit or both.

Can it be used?

In the Data - Options field, check the "Visible" box so that the icon will be visible. Pitzer's ability guide (link) has some info on it. I thought there was a tutorial specifically about channel somewhere, but I can't find it.

I ended up using another skill already but haiz, thanks man. I will use it in future i suppose.
