Project Name: The Sands of Time (acronym; TSoT)
General Information: It is a total conversion of Warcraft III into Dune II. In other words, Dune II will become 3D plus a variety of features.

Story: A Spice War begins, and the Padishah Emperor declares a competition where all three houses should aim for harvesting the most spice on Arrakis (or Dune). Unravel the story in 4 campaigns, 1 for each House and a bonus campaign for travelling in other planets for wealth, conquest or discovery.

Progress: The UI has been finished. I'm having issues on FDF files right now and also MPQs and their nature. I'll ask help from THW about this issue so that I could continue the project's UI.

Teams: jonadrian619 (me) as Group Leader for Modcraft 3D, 2D artist, UI editor, campaign map maker, researcher (Dune-related media and articles), and much more. I, for now, work alone in this project. Team members are welcome, because it's getting a bit weird by working on it myself.

This project seriously needs modelers or renderers and skinners of at least good talent and skill. Without models, it would be impossible to complete the object data and also enliven the game with doodads and Main Menu Backgrounds.

Modelers should follow the guidelines below:

- Modelers should render all of the structures, infantry and vehicles/planes. The styles of the models should be based on Dune 2000 Models. Here is a link to Dune 2000 units and structures (Units/Structures panel).

- Can convert models into Warcraft III format (Model -> MDL -> MDX)

- (Important) You don't need to render 1 type of building for every house. Instead render that building and then make 3 skins for it, make 3 copies of the model file and implement the three skins into each file.

- For skinners, just mimic and create the texture of Dune 2000 units and save it to a high detail and implement it to new models.

- I'm using Dune 2000 models instead ones from Dune II because they have far greater detail.

- New members of TsoT mod just needs to render and skin models, not animate it. Animation comes in future times. But if you want a challenge and animate the finished models, then join.

- If you need help on what to do please PM me.

- When you accept to be a part of the team, I'll give you a complete document with every detail and objective to get your work done (depending on what's your occupation in this team.).

Thanks...
