Is it possible to remove a projectile art missile in flight?

Is it possible to remove a projectile art missile before it hits its target? If so, please explain how. The missile can either be fired by a unit or an ability. For example, an archer shoots an arrow. Is it possible to remove/destroy the arrow before it hits its target?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no, unless you make a custom projectile system, which is hard

Yes, I have come to the same conclusion. Projectiles cannot be destroyed/removed in flight.

Using units as projectiles is a pain in the arse and only causes lag when used on a large scale. It's the reason I'm interested in Warcraft III's projectile system.

In any case, I found a workaround and it gives more freedom than my previous idea. Thanks anyway.

I'm sorry if this is threadomancy, but Remove Unit can do this.

Actually no, I already tested many different possibilities and removing the unit that fires the projectile does not destroy the projectile itself.
