Aloc + invisibility

I just noticed that units with the "locust" ability and any kind of invisibility (tested shadowmeld and ghost) cannot be seen by anyone else but the owner (only if the players share vision), not even using truesight! If you share vision of the invisible unit with other players, those can see whatever the unit sees, yet not the unit itself.

Now I'd have 2 questions:
- Has this always been the case? I'm sure I did something with units leaving invisible, unselectable trails which could only be seen by using truesight before....
- Is there any way around this?

Thank you!

Interesting find, must experiment on this more.

If your unit attacks, does it break the invis?

@Malf: Ghost doesn't break of course, shadowmeld does as usual.

Noone? Please, someone has to be able to answer at least question 1!

I don't quite understand the first question, but I'm fairly sure the problem is caused by Locust/Aloc since it's also quite known to be buggy.

well none of the 'target' fields allow for 'unselectable/Aloc' so id say its always been this way, and its hardcore

@Gorman: Hm, guess you're right. Even truesight probably can't target them. I'll have to accept it then and think of something else.
It's just that I am pretty sure I created units visible only using truesight with aloc before. It was a trail of glow-units every hero left in his teamcolor. Stupid I can't find the map anymore and check. Meh, I might be imagining things...
But that still doesn't explain why I can see units owned by players that share vision with me while I can't see units that share their vision via "UnitShareVision" (ally or not doesn't matter). Must be a bug then...

Anyway thank you!, I guess I'll just concentrate on something else for now.
