What is SSBW?


Super Smash Bros. War is a arena-like map currently in development. It has tons of new content including characters, stages, items, and a wide array of NPCs.

Gameplay


First you pick from a wide arrange of characters. Then, you go to the stage you want to fight on and you go to war with the other heroes. It's a nonstop battle royal.

Sounds interesting but you haven't really told us much about how it would play other than "an arena-like map". I mean, are you aiming to replicate the percentage thing? And do trophies work on it, with it being a WC3 map?
Also, there's no progress thingy, so how much have you actually done? It's possible to create alot of those characters in WE, there are plenty of custom models and spells that would be cool to use for them.

I wanted to make my own super smash bros warcraft map but since sc2 is coming out I figure it will be exponentially to make using the new sc2 engine instead the warcraft one.

However, if your plans are not to make a dota arena then I hope it works out for you. DON'T make this a simple hero arena, give the people a good smash bros game!
