whats up guys. i recently got back into map making. several years ago i learned everything from this website. great job, it looks better than ever! well anywho this is more of just a test post because the map section wouldnt let me upload. so if anyone knows why it would be nice for some help. im guessing my account was disabled because ive been gone for so long............ |

I'm guessing either: a) You're trying to post in the wrong place. b) Your map is too big. Over 2.5 MB is apparently iffy, but 5 MB should be the limit. c) Your connection breaks and so it screws up. Although actually diagnosing with basically no info is impossible. |

A) im pretty sure its the right place. in the maps section, not the approved maps but the submit a map page. went to the bottom and clicked submit map. also tried to start a new thread. B) It wouldnt let me get to that screen cause it says i dont have authorization to do continue. plus the maps only like 300kb C)no |

Its C then, you keep disconecting and you account logs out, then it wont let you submit. |

lol im not an idiot i know its not my intraweb thingy. ive tried it from three diffrent comps. every computer i log on too it just says i dont have permission to even continue. it wont let me get to the upload screen. so im guessing i need rep? |

No, rep has nothing to do with it at all. You're not allowed to upload maps into the Map Database, that's the whole reason there's an approval process in the first place. You should be uploading map submissions in topics in this forum. |

the little check box "Keep me logged in" when you log in should fix... or WC3C knows better than to let you post a map :P |

Hmm...I guess I forgot to post here. I think that the issue has been resolved. Try again. If it still doesn't work...post back here. |
