So I came up with this Idea a few days ago, really basic, but I think it could be kinda good and I'm looking for some input.

Pretty much, it's a mix of PvE versus PvP. Two or maybe Three teams (IDK) would battle in a fairly large valley; the terrain would be very different, and there'd be a neutral town somewhere in the map, possibly in the middle. Obviously: Items, Heroes.

Random creeps would spawn; some would patrol around, others would have their own specific area. They'd mostly be pretty different, and some might also drop items.

The big deal would be bosses. There'd be 3 or maybe 4 minibosses that the players would have to kill. Obviously, the bosses would use an advanced AI to cast interesting spells and whatnot that made the fight really interesting. When the bosses died, they would drop a piece of a banner(These pieces would drop on death). All three pieces can be united into a big banner, which can be used to unlock the final boss. Same sort of fight, interesting and difficult. When the boss dies, whichever team has the banner wins. The boss can't die unless *someone* is holding the banner.

The only big problems I can see is that the gameplay with the bosses might get stale over multiple games. An obvious solution is to have multiple sets of bosses that would be random to each game.

So, any input?

To be honest...I don't like the idea. So every team races to the mini-bosses, then kill steals each other. By the time it gets to the end-boss, everything will be so chaotic and screwed up that complete luck will determine the winner.

lol that'd be a funny twist. "come on heads, heads... NOOOO we had the most points and every thing but lost the coin toss!"

It sorta sounds like impossible bosses, but with 3 teams killing each other to whole time. Which is sorta bad thing. Not only are you combining mindless grinding (I assume thats how you get strong enough to fight bosses) but combining the least funnest tactics in aos like ksing a boss/ ganking them during a boss fight.

3 games can't always mix.
